Skilled Nursing

MedStar Home Health is a full service, home care provider. Our highly skilled team of professionals provides a customized plan of care that is unique to each patient in the comfort of their home. It is our duty to educate the patients and their families throughout the course of care and have someone on call 24/7. We provide the original assessment and all reassessments needed for each patient, throughout the course of care.

Skilled Nursing Features

• Assessment and regular reassessment of the nursing needs of the patient and/or caregiver throughout the course of care.
• Initiation of preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for the patients safety
• Observation of physical and emotional signs and symptoms and reporting to the physician of all reactions to treatments, including medication administration.
